Library Explores Colonial Cooking History

The Smithtown Library will present George Washington Ate Here: Colonial Cooking on Long Island Tuesday, September 22, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Community Room A/B at the Smithtown Building, 1 North Country Road. The program examines how food was prepared and which recipes were popular during the colonial era on Long Island, with historical context about George Washington's 1790 visit.
