Mesa Reviews Special Event Rules

Mesa's Planning and Zoning Board is scheduled to meet Wednesday, September 23, at 4:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 20 E. Main St. The meeting is part of the city's review of proposed amendments to Titles 5, 6 and 11 covering special events and temporary uses. The draft changes would reorganize licensing rules, clarify approval procedures, set duration and frequency standards, and add operational requirements. Apache Wells residents can review the city's draft materials before the meeting if these rules affect neighborhood events or temporary activities.
