Schools Schedule Another Early Release

Gilbert Public Schools has scheduled a one-hour early release for Wednesday, September 16. The district lists dismissal times of 1:20 p.m. for high schools, 1:55 p.m. for elementary schools, and 2:30 p.m. for junior high schools. Families should account for the shortened school day when arranging transportation, child care, meals, and afternoon activities. Parents and guardians should also review any school-specific instructions about pickup, buses, athletics, or after-school programs that may operate on a modified schedule.
