Riverside Hosts Morrison Art History Talk

Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing, will host author Albertus Gorman on Thursday, September 24, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a free presentation about New Albany painter George W. Morrison. Gorman's book examines Morrison's landscapes and portraits as a visual record of the Ohio River Valley from the 19th century through the Civil War and Reconstruction era. The program is part of Riverside's Local Writers, Local Connections Series. Reservations are encouraged, and refreshments and a possible book signing will follow the talk.
