Hispanic Heritage Arts Activities Begin September 21

Free Hispanic Heritage Month activities begin Monday, September 21, at participating San Antonio community centers and continue through October 16. The first week's activity, running September 21 through 25, is a Frida Kahlo portrait project. Activities take place from 5 to 6 p.m., with participating centers assigned different days. Monday locations include Copernicus, Normoyle and Yates community centers; other centers participate on later weekdays. The program is open to all ages, and residents can use the Parks and Recreation listing to find the center serving their schedule.
