Children Can Read To Therapy Dogs

Children ages 5 to 12 can practice reading aloud to certified therapy dogs Saturday, September 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Graubner Library, 65821 Van Dyke in Washington. The Romeo District Library says readers of all skill levels are welcome in a quiet, judgment-free setting. Registration is required by calling the children's librarian at 586-752-0603, extension 5, and each child will receive an assigned time slot. The program includes three dogs, so families should consider possible allergies before registering.
