War Memorial Hosts 9/11 Remembrance Service

The War Memorial will hold a free public Service of Remembrance at 8:30 a.m. Friday, September 11, on the lakefront lawn of the historic Alger House, 32 Lake Shore Drive in Grosse Pointe Farms. The ceremony will mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks and include a reading of Michigan residents lost in the attacks, a color guard procession, musical performances, and a coffee gathering afterward. Preregistration is requested, and livestream access will also be available.
