Walk This Way Starts in Pontiac

Oakland County Parks will launch its six-week Walk This Way series for adults age 55 and older Thursday, September 10, with a free kickoff event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the boat launch in Pontiac Oaks Park, 1400 Telegraph Road in Pontiac. The kickoff includes interactive park activities, community resources, social opportunities, and a light lunch. The series will feature themed walks focused on mindfulness, pacing, balance, and strength. Registration for the kickoff is required by Tuesday, September 8, either online or by calling 248-858-0916.
