Trash to Treasure Days Begin September 10

Strathmore's 2026 Trash to Treasure Days run from Thursday, September 10, through Sunday, September 13, ahead of the Town's heavy item garbage collection. Residents can place unwanted but reusable items at the same location used for heavy item garbage, with the required HIG tag visible. Neighbours may take usable items during the program. At the end of the four-day period, residents should remove anything they want to keep and leave remaining items for heavy item garbage collection. The Town says residents should not take untagged items or place unwanted goods on another resident's property.
