Free Youth Mental Health Training

Franklin Township's Stigma-Free Council and Empower Somerset will offer a free six-hour Youth Mental Health First Aid training on Friday, September 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Community/Senior Center, 505 DeMott Lane, Somerset. The course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use challenges affecting young people ages 6 through 18. Space is very limited, and pre-registration is required. The training is intended for parents, teachers, school staff, coaches, youth leaders, camp counselors, and others who work with young people.
