Council Reviews Coastal Notice Changes

The Ventura City Council is scheduled to consider initiation of a Local Coastal Program Implementation Plan amendment Tuesday, September 22, at its 5 p.m. meeting in the City Council Chambers, 501 Poli Street. The proposed changes would revise local coastal notice and hearing procedures, consolidate and clarify related provisions, update code references, and expand public noticing. The City lists the amendment as under review and directs residents to the project documents and City Council agenda for details. The council meeting is the next identified step in the review process.
