Norwalk Police Plan 25-Hour Memorial Run

Norwalk Police Department Tactical Response Team members are scheduled to begin a 25-hour memorial run at 5:00 PM Thursday, September 10, at 1 North Water Street. Participants will run one mile at the top of every hour for 25 consecutive hours, with the final run beginning at 6:00 PM Friday, September 11. A 20-pound weighted vest is optional. Each mile honors people killed in the September 11 attacks, including 14 Norwalk residents, and proceeds benefit Tunnel to Towers.
