Free Watercolor Workshop Explores Ecology

The Ecology Art Lab: Handmade Watercolor Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Patchogue Arts Council and Museum of Contemporary Art, 20 Terry Street, Suite 116. The free, all-ages workshop will show participants how rocks and minerals can become watercolor pigments, while also discussing oysters, aquaculture, and coastal ecosystems. No prior experience is required, and each participant will create a painting using the handmade watercolors.
