Coastal Cleanup Seeks Local Volunteers

The 41st Annual International Coastal Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at 14 Broward County sites, including three in Fort Lauderdale. The City's event listing identifies Fort Lauderdale Beach Park as a registration location, with the registration table at the picnic tables north of the restrooms. Volunteers should register by emailing coastalcleanup@broward.org and include their name, contact information, preferred site, and number of attendees. Residents can use the registration instructions to join the cleanup at a participating local site.
