Volunteers Join Fall Litter Sweep

Hope Mills residents, groups and individuals can join the Annual Fall Litter Sweep on Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers should meet at the Hope Mills Recreation Center at 5766 Rockfish Road to receive supplies. Trash bags, pickers, gloves and safety vests will be provided, and supplies must be returned to the recreation center by 1 p.m. Registration is required. The town lists the event as free and welcomes both organized groups and individual volunteers.
