Library Offers Low-Cost Insurance Help

Elwood Public Library will host free help with low-cost health insurance from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 11, at 1929 Jericho Turnpike. A Nassau/Suffolk Hospital Council representative will assist children and adults 65 and older who are blind or disabled with enrollment in select Medicaid programs. The library says service is first come, first served, with no appointment or registration required. Residents can receive help during the posted session hours.
