Volunteer Orientation Offers City Opportunities

The City of Corona will hold a volunteer orientation Monday, September 21, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Frances Aldama Martinez Community Room at the Corona Public Library, 650 S. Main Street. The session is for people ages 12 and older who want to learn about volunteer opportunities with the library, parks, and recreation services. Prospective long-term volunteers must pass a background check, and the city says that process can take four to six weeks. Court-referred and school-mandated volunteer hours are not accepted.
