Preservation Awards Honor Newport Projects

The Newport Restoration Foundation and the City of Newport will hold the 20th Annual Doris Duke Historic Preservation Awards on Friday, September 11, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Rough Point Museum, 680 Bellevue Avenue. The 2026 program will recognize Miramar for excellence in historic preservation and the Sprouting Rock Beach Association Historic Clubhouse for resiliency. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with the awards ceremony beginning at 6:30 PM. Complimentary valet parking will be available.
