Fall Brush Chipping Begins September 21

Barrington's fall brush chipping program is scheduled to run from September 21 through October 30. The Department of Public Works asks residents to call 401-247-1907 or contact the department before service. Each stop is limited to 10 minutes, and piles may not exceed 3 feet high by 6 feet long. Branches larger than 4 inches in diameter will not be chipped, and logs and stumps will not be chipped or collected. Residents should prepare piles within those limits before requesting service.
