Townwide Garage Sale Starts September 18

West Milford's annual townwide garage sale is scheduled for Friday, September 18, through Sunday, September 20, 2026. Residents may hold garage sales during the weekend without a permit or township-approved signs. Sale hours may be anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The township is preparing an address list and map, with the map available September 16. The deadline for map inclusion was September 4, while sales submitted by September 11 may still appear on the address list. Signs must be attached to stakes, may not be placed on utility poles or township property, and must be removed within 48 hours after the sale.
