First Aid Class Includes Narcan Training

Flower Mound Parks and Recreation will offer a First Aid, CPR, and AED class Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 to 11:45 a.m. in the Pecan Room at the Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road. The class is for ages 11 and older and covers bleeding response, naloxone use for opioid overdoses, and cardiac emergencies involving infants, children, and adults. Participants will receive a free two-dose Narcan kit, and the class meets the two-year OSHA certification requirement. Registration is required.
