Kinship Families Fair Offers Local Support

Aging and Disability Resources will hold a free Kinship Families Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, September 18, at Beulah Recreation Center, 6901 Hopkins Road in North Chesterfield. The fair will offer information for relatives and other caregivers raising children, with participating organizations including Chesterfield County Public Schools, the Chesterfield Food Bank, Greater Richmond SCAN, Juvenile Justice Services, Mental Health Support Services, Parks and Recreation and Social Services. A stress-management presentation is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Registration is preferred by 5 p.m. Thursday, September 17, but is not required.
