Honey Day Offers Family Bee Activities

Honey Day will take place from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, September 13, at Belmont Recreation Center, 1600 Hilliard Road. The family program will explore bees, honey, and pollination through educational, creative, and hands-on activities for participants of all ages. A presentation on yellow jackets will begin at 2 p.m. Residents can contact Henrico Recreation and Parks for more information before attending. The event is scheduled as a county recreation program at the Belmont center.
