Free Car Seat Checks Offered September 23

Henrico County Police and Recreation and Parks will offer free child safety seat inspections from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, September 23, at Deep Run Recreation Center, 9910 Ridgefield Parkway. Residents can bring a car seat or booster seat, its manual, and the child or children who use it when possible. Caregivers who transport the children are also encouraged to attend. The event is scheduled rain or shine unless severe weather requires postponement. If many vehicles are waiting, Henrico Police offers appointments for later checkups.
