Long Creek Park Seeks Playground Ideas

Pender County Parks and Recreation will host a drop-in public engagement session Thursday, September 10, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Long Creek Community Park, 23280 N.C. Highway 210 in Rocky Point. Residents can share ideas about the design, accessibility, age range, and other features for a planned playground, as well as possible future park improvements. County officials say feedback will help guide the project and may support a future Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant application. Attendees may stop by at any time during the two-hour session.
