Utilities Hosts Williams Creek Open House

Colorado Springs Utilities will hold a public open house about the Williams Creek Generating Station from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, at the Fountain Library, 230 S. Main Street, in Fountain. Residents can drop in without registering to learn about the project's purpose and benefits, site location and expected timeline, and to speak with the project team. The proposed 400-megawatt generating station is planned for a Colorado Springs Utilities site southeast of Fountain in unincorporated El Paso County and is part of the utility's long-term power planning.
