The Gateway will open at 5 a.m., with last entry for the special event at 7 a.m. Visitors must purchase a timed-entry permit per vehicle and admission fees in advance because no Gateway sales will be available for the event. Visitors who prefer not to drive can reserve a shuttle from the North Pole parking lot. Access is weather permitting, and there will be no access to the North Slope Recreation Area during the special event.
