Fiestas Patrias Returns to RiverEdge Park

Aurora's 13th annual Fiestas Patrias celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, at RiverEdge Park. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. The city-sponsored Hispanic heritage celebration includes food vendors, music, entertainers and a scholarship fundraiser for Latino students from Aurora. Saturday's program includes Ballet Folklorico, Los Creyentes del Poder, Grupo Furioso and Banda Carnaval. Sunday features a Parade of Nations, El Grito and La Maquinaria Norteña. Admission is $20 for people age 12 and older and $10 for children age 11 and younger per day.
